- Wireless M-Bus
- The meter broadcasts its readings by radio at 868 MHz. A Metbox Wireless M-Bus gateway in range receives the telegrams; if they are encrypted, add the meter’s AES key in the platform once, and every reading arrives decoded. Wireless M-Bus gateway

- Wire the device to the RS-485 port of a Metbox Pro. It is polled by address, and its registers are read by name rather than by number. Modbus reading
